People Asia Magazine's 2009 People of the Year Awardees

The People Asia Magazine is one of the most respected publications in the Philippines.

Since its foundation way back 2004, it has been its yearly routine to honor outstanding personalities whose lives and achievements have contributed to society in a positive way. This is done by giving a “People of the Year” award to those exemplary individuals. As for me, I think this is one way of saying “Sikat ang Pinoy”.

So, for the 2009 People of the Year award, the People Asia Magazine honored 16 outstanding personalities at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza and the awarding ceremony was emceed by Johnny Litton and Korina Sanchez-Roxas. The awards night features performances from Sarah Geronimo, “the Pop star Princess” and the Angelos, (the all-male singing group). It also coincided with the 10th anniversary of the magazine, which was founded by the late STAR founding chairman Max Soliven.

The lists of the 2009 People of the Year awardees includes:

"simple things that comes into my mind."

"simple things" ang subject mo. plural yan.

kaya maling "comes" ang ginamit mong verb.

simpleng subject-verb agreement.
