The Jabbawockeez

“JABBAWOCKEEZ” is the first ever winner of “Randy Jackson’s America’s Best Dance Crew” — an American television show featuring street dance crew from the U.S. and is produced by American Idol (AI) judge — “Randy Jackson”. They earned $100K in winning the said contest. Their final performance was to Kanye West’s “Stronger”, which marked their public unmasked performance. ^_^

Jabbawockeez is an all male hip-hop dance group from California which most of the members are half-Filipino. (Astig! Sikat ang Pinoy)The name of the group derived from the Lewis Carroll poem “Jabberwocky”. Its members are the following:

• Rynan Shawn “Kid Rainen” Paguio — half-Filipino, half-American
• Christopher “Cristyle” Gatdula — half-Filipino, half-American
• Phillip “Swaggerboy” Tayag — half-Filipino, half-American
• Joseph “Emajoenation” Larot — half-Filipino, half-American
• Randy “Wish One” Bernal — half-Filipino, half-American
• Saso “Saso Fresh” Jimenez — half-Spanish, half-American
• Jeff “Phi” Nguyen — half-Vietnamese, half-American
• Eddie “Eddiestyles” Gutierrez — half-Spanish, half-American
• Benjamin “B-Tek” Chung — half-Korean, half-American
• Kevin “Keibee” Brewer — half-African, half-American
• Gary “Gee” Kendell — half-American, half-American (the 7th member who died just before the start of the season)

They just had their concert here in the Philippines last month — February 6, for the “Music Fest 2010” at the McKinley Hills Open Ground in the Fort, Taguig.
