Simple Things in Mind
“Walakasaloloko.info” is a website which is included in the Palarong SEO contest with a theme “Sikat ang Pinoy”. The contest aims to help the victims of typhoon Ondoy (which is internationally known as Ketsana) that hits our country (Philippines) September of last year; leaving almost all cities in Metro Manila and many adjoining provinces in a devastated condition plus a high numbers of people and animals dead.
The founders of “Walakasaloloko.info” were really saddened about the said incident that happened to their fellow Filipinos. So, they decided to join in the contest to be able to help those victims of typhoon. The website has a banner which says “Help Typhoon Victims” which links it to Google Relief for Ondoy website. And in case, they’ll be the one to win 1st place then they will donate a portion of the cash price to a foundation which gives relief to Typhoon Ondoy victims.
The Walakasaloloko.info decided to feature jokes and funny articles instead of the usual “serious” stuffs, in order to attract more attention to masses (people) especially Filipinos. Because we, Filipinos are known to be comedian/funny and really loves funny and entertaining stuffs. So, by attracting more visitors, it also means an increase promotion to the Ondoy link/site.
So, for those who would like to somehow help those victims of Ondoy, it’s not yet late. Just simply click this: “Walakasaloloko.info” and it will automatically link you to their site. And I’ll assure you guys, that you will not only help those victims but YOU WILL DEFINITELY BE ENTERTAIN, as well. You will surely laugh your heart out with their funny articles and will definitely be amazed on the founder’s creativity. Because they decided that their images are created in MS Paint that makes it so ASTIG talaga! \m/(^_^)\m/
And, oh by the way, they’re already on facebook. And as of today, January 22, 2010 3:19 PM (Philippine time) they already gathered 408 fans and hoping to still increase those numbers. The one thing that strikes me more than the jokes are the sketches drawn by the website walakasaloloko.info. I really appreciate the effort of putting it up together. Maraming salamat!
